Hello, I have posted before about this, but never got anywhere with it. I lost the screw on my pro series speaker mic, and I cannot get a new one! I tried my local dealer and they said, sorry, you'll need a whole new unit, damn jerks!! I am asking if anybody can point in the right direction to getting one? A gentleman on this board did send me one at one point, but it was lost in the mail en route. If somebody could simply send me a screw, it would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me at
mikemost@aol.com if you can help.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi:
Through a Nightmare of paperwork and requests
through CCS @ Motorola , I was
able to get Motorola to make this part availible.
Your Dealer can order it for you now !
Part # for the Thumb Screw is:
0380384E78
THEY WILL NOT make the other parts
availible ( for obvisious reasons )

Monty,
Is that just the screw with the slot on it one can use a dime in, or is that the one with the Knurled Ferrule like comes on the factory HT1250 rib cable. I'd give my right you know what for a few so I don't have to fiddle for a dime when I am in a hurry to put my speaker mic on.

HI:
That is a Very Good Question.
I will order a few, and advise next week.
I am sure they will only be a 100.00 or so.
I only addressed that issue as I had
a few customers that were annoyed
when they were told it was necessary
to purchase a whole new mic if they
lost the Mounting Screw.
Since I really don't address many issues in those
Cheap-a** radios, I normally do not get involved
into them other than [ Restoring ] Dead ones from
a corrupted Code Plug or Fixing Primary items that
become defective.
===============================
The Latest one--> Funny Volume Control has no
stops, and rotates like a record.

I am also not a favorite fan of the Plastic Mylar tape
covering the Universal Contacts which are nothing more than
a Flex Strip with Gold Pads for the Connector contacts
to mate with....
AND DO NOT attempt to pull it up and look !! If you do, it will
not reseat properly !
I mean really !
Oh well, another CCS issue to
start Monday
