GR1225 Xband Input

Here's my project:

Existing UHF GR1225 working perfectly. Looking to put in an additional channel to function as a crossband repeater. Low band in, UHF out. Only single direction. Can I set this as a separate channel that when the crossband is active, it switches automatically to that channel??? I know thats CDM radios can change channels, but can a GR1225??? Thanks!
