XTL1500 mic cable conversion to USB programming cable?

Hello everyone! I recently bought a xtl1500 with a few mics ...and I was wondering if I could cut one of cables to connect to a USB cable to play around with programming? I have been having trouble finding a wiring pin out for the front connection port where the mic and or programming cable would plug in. Is this even possible? Any advice would be appreciated!
