XPR4550 Priority tones help please

I have a 6550 setup and trying to do the same for my 4550. I have all tones but PTT disabled. I am in need of Priority 1 on a TRBO repeater channel during scan. I can do this, but every time the channel goes active, I get an annoying double tone sound beep. Is there a way to disable the priority tones and keep the PTT tones for TRBO and analog? For the life of me I cannot seem to be able to get this right in the software? I am afraid of reading and writing the radio to many times that it may break the radio.
