New Motorola Equipment Purchase Advice

Hello. It looks like my FD in Illinois will be transitioning to Starcom. We will be utilizing Motorola APX8000 dual band (VHF/7/800) portables (model 2.5) and Motorola APX8500 all-band mobiles (O2 control head). Can anyone share their thoughts and ideas on accessories and features that we need to include with this new equipment? Not every vehicle will be receiving a mobile radio, so I would like to have some type of holder/bracket for a portable radio in the mobile-less vehicles. Any thoughts on that specifically? Thank you.
