Astro Saber Programing

I am using Astro Saber & XTS3000 CPS ver R05.03.00, Motorola Rib and cable for original Saber. I connect Astro Saber and try to read and get error communications with radio failed. I just used CPS and rib with a XTS3000 and was able to program it. Is the cable for original Saber the same as cable for Astro Saber?

original astro saber will not work unless you use a 25-25 pin adapter that flips the two data lines
