APX Next Radio - Hazard Zone

While programming the APX next radios that I have created the codeplugs for, I am running into an issue whereas the Home Zone channel will go red (Invalid) if I don't have the personality in the zone set to hazard mode. If I uncheck it, the channel number for the Home zone goes invalid. Does anyone know how to shut this off as it will not allow any adjustment to the loudness other than to make it go from loud as hell to painstakingly deafening! Any suggestions, I have looked through the radio and there is apparently an option for fire standards mode, but see nowhere to disable it..??
