XPR3500 with no receive audio

I have a XPR3500, it is 7 years old. There is no boot up tone or any received audio. I have subbed the speaker. I was told that the radio was dropped or thrown. What should I check next?

I would say check the board to see if there are any cracks at the solder joints or to see if the flex ribbon (if it has any, I can't remember if they have flex) to see if the flex is seated properly or was knocked loose.
