Best shipping method to/from Canada & US?

I may be doing a trade with a person in Canada. What's the best shipping method (least delays, Customs hassles, etc.) for shipping from the US to Canada? And are there any gotchas for how they ship back to me? (duties to pay?)

Post office is the way to go.. label it as a gift and send any invoice or paperwork with a $$$ value seperate and you should avoid the duties.

Have not had any trouble with FEDEX. List it as used parts. UPS is a witch
