Hello all -
What bands / bandsplits does the MX1000 come in? Is it exactly the same as the Saber, or are there some sort of funky european bandsplits that it might or might not be available in?
Thanks!

The MX series come in most of the same bandsplits as it's North American conterpart with the exception of the 460-490mhz split, I have never seen one for that split and the RSS does not show a model for that split. Be careful buying a UHF MX, they also have a weird dual split for Europe, 403-433mhz rx//440-470 mhz TX, it's a real od ball and hard to do anything with except change out the modules. The modules from a North American Saber will work in the MX series. The MX radios are nice radios, they just don't support MDC .

ok, let us see...
I think I can remember a few things about the MX 1/2/3000 series.
4m /MB 68-84 MHz; 74-88 MHz
2m/VHF 146-162 MHz; 157-174 MHz; 146-174 MHZ (LP-model)
0.7m/UHF 403-433 MHz; 440-470 MHz
and I never saw one of them, but i heard in the Netherlands they use 0.7m UHF lowband RX und UHF highband TX.
I have some MX and in my opinion, the best radios M ever sold in Europe, all the later models (jedis and so on) are rubbish if you can get a MX...
