Is scan enabled in RSS?
Is the mic off hook switch grounded?

I tried grounding the rear of the mike, no luck.
I think that scan is enabled but the RSS is none too clear and I
have problems translating MOTOspeak, and I have the GTX RSS Manual.
Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ

GTX Scan Problem

I got two of the three radios to scan properly. The third will not. Suddenly dawned on me to check the Model numbers and sure enough, the problem radio is a different model number.
Thats why the Scan table looks different when I read the Code Plug.
And I cannot clone the Code Plug to a different Model Number.
So, 2 out of 3 ain't bad !@!!

I have the same problem. When I enable scan it reverts to the only mode left for trunking and would allow scanning of personalities. I understand you must leave one mode as trunked.
What model number did you have problems with and which ones worked?
Thanks,
Ken

The problem radio is no more. A local who doesn't want scan capability took it.
