I have seen the Minitor IV in action, checked it out; I like it. I'd use it!!! :)

I really believe that my Minitor II performs better than the III or IV. It has been more durable and has picked up in places where a III or IV wouldn't.

Maybe it's just me...

I have both a Minitor 2 and Minitor 4. I like them both really. The 4 receives fairly well and I like the look...

But I can't deny the dependability of a Minitor 2 though.

At least WAU 718 has several repeaters  8) We're still using DTMF to talk into our center.....

Sucks!

Switches do seem better than the III, but the receive sensitivity is worse than the Minitor II.

Give me my old Minitor II any day.

well....

i have had all 4 types of mintors! the 4 is a great improvement on the 3 especially the knobs but i would have to say the best one i ever had was my minitor 2 SV! i think this was the greatest pager they ever made!

Oh yeah, the Minitor II is a great one, I think our FD has some of them; they are still using Minitor 1's! :D , all red, VHF hi.

I was disappointed when I found out that the VHF Minitor IV's had relatively narrow bandsplits, and wouldn't accept most 12.5 kHz spaced channels.

Other than that, I guess it was ok.

Well since they came out with a fix for the tone seq. problem and scanning of tones it is a great pager. The clicks you can feel more of but we don't use pagers no more.

Thanks to Nextel and trunking we no longer need or use them.
