I ordered 2 UHF CDM1550s today and was told that Motorola only uses CDM1550LS models now. Anyone have the same experience?

Can you tell me any other new features? Looks like 160 channels also. I'm not sure of the price but it's around $750 with DTMF mike and remote mount kit. Bill
The 1550LSplus comes with voice storage standard. You do not have to add an option board. It is built into the radio and simply needs to be programed into one of the programmable buttons.Bill Rogers wrote:Thanks Charlie. Do you think it comes with the voice storage board which used to be an option? Bill
