Can a 2 channel HT600 be converted to a 6 channel? Will programming a 6 channel codeplug into it do it?

Also to convert an M120 into a GM300, what has to be done, besides swapping a gm300 control head onto it?

Or can either of the mods even be done?

Thanks,
Allan

Your HT600 will work.

the GM300 uses a different logic board to do the extra channels and I don't think you can upgrade it.

Hi:

Changing the personality of a HT600 from
2 to 6 channels is really easy.

Either hunt for the 2to6.exe or if you are
into hex editing ( Like what I do ) , just
edit the file. All that information can be
found here on Batlabs.

GM300's on the other hand, are very complex
and time consuming to do. Not Only does one
have to change the Control head, you also
have to have a Logic Board that is Blank, or
have good skills at hex editing.

I have ( 1 ) Blank GM300 Logic Board left
if you are interested, and its " Nothing"
Like the Older Maxtrac or Radius Mobiles.

I've tried searching for 2to6.exe but it's really hard to find. Is this one of the programs you have to get(buy) from Motorola?

Also, how much do you want for the logic Brd?
Thanks,
Allan.

Hi Allen:

Email me direct @ msisco9939@aol.com, and
I can give you some information of the CCFF change to FFFF on the last line in hexing.

Also, I can give you the deatils on the
Blank Boar & instructions on " How Too"
Re-initialize them, and the percautions.
