I am new to the 900mhz band and I was wondering if a Motorola Spectra with a model number of D37KMA7JA5DK will do the 900mhz amateur radio band without converting anything. Any info will be appreciated.

No Spectra will do the 900 ham band "without converting anything"

You need to modify the RSS to allow the ham band frequencies to be entered and you need to do a hardware modification to allow the VCO to lock on the ham frequencies.
