Is anyone aware of problems with the cable between the head and the radio on an MCS2000 II VHF 100 watt. My new radio was installed with a bad cable. When the shop changed it, they tested the new cable first, but when installed it didn't work again. Are the cables not made well, could they be damaged on install while pulling them to the head and radio? Any Ideas ? The head and radio were bench tested, so we know they are both good. The radio powers up, Rx's but WILL NOT TX.

How did you bench test the Head and Drawer if your cables are bad. I can tell you that the MCS2000 control head can be causing your problem.

Tell me what the problems you are experiencing. Without the symptoms, can't help solve the problem.
