syntor x9000 control head programming

Post by stangmansvo »

Im new with syntor x9000's so here goes :o

i have programmed my radio ok, and loaded my control head mode names but would like to change the mode names. where in the rss is this done?? I dont see any section in rss for this. 9000 conventional Low Band

steve

Also, I have a systems 9000 head labeled HCN1036E and after further inspection the controller & display boards are labeled HLN5104D.

My question is this a UHF unit or will this work on conventional Low band frequencies???
thanks again

The Syntor X9000 has seperate programs for the the radio (RDPROG) and control head (CHPROG).

You program them each independently, so you can easily go back and make changes. The control heads will work with any band, unless you have an 800 trunking version or a Spectra 9000 head that looks like the SX9000 head.

Watch your part numbers, check the Batlabs Syntor X9000 control head pages for more info. :)

Stang, here is a link to the control head info section on Mike Blenderman's (the Syntor info guru!) site: http://www.open.org/~blenderm/syntorx/c ... x9kchcross. The software is a bit tricky to learn if you are used to newer RSS layout, but is pretty easy once you figure it out. Have fun!
