mtx838 programming question

How can you program an mtx 838 to scan more than 8 channels--i go to scan list option and all there is to do is make another scan list. Is this like a saber and the 12 channels at a time thing or what-- not familiar wiht this radio have it for a couple of weeks to play with.

Hit the 'page down' button on your computer...the rest of the list will show up. You have a maximum of 10 members for a talkgroup list, and 15 for conventional channels (if your model allows it).
