You might find this useful.
It's the equation used in cellular, to figure out the CGSA [cellular geographic service area.]
Basically, it estimates the 32 dBu Carey curve.
D=1.05*H^0.34*P^0.17
D = Miles
H = HAAT, feet
P = ERP, watts
