...at least I think that's what this is: Model T81XTA7DA2BK. BatLabs info on circa 1976 radios suggests a 100-150w unit good for 25-54mHz. Can anyone confirm? Goal is high split (45mHz) and amateur 6 meter band.
Also, I note the RIB cable is the same but will Maxtrac software work with this radio or do I need to invest in specific software for this radio?

Tnx.

110 watt unit. need maratrac or m-400 rss
and see info here on the board on how to edit to allow it to go to 52Mhz. That is of course it is the right split. lo band maratracs are 30-36 36-42 42-50
Hope you have a high split. Good luck

Hi - check inside for these boards: HLB1028A xcvr board, HLB4101A RF board, and HLB4115A PA board. These are the 42-50 meg split units. Any others, and you have the lower splits. Unfortunately, you can't tell from the external ID numbers.

Thanks, guys! I fear that this is a low split, given that I've learned from whence it came. Will check board numbers just the same .

I appreciate the positive input on the matter.

I looked at our fleet inventory and we have two radios with the same model # and they are both 42-50, but according to the tag on the one I could get to easily it is a Radius M400, we trat it as a Maratrac for Programming.
