HT1250 MDC PTT-ID

Post by PriorityOne »

My HT1250 does not seem to be encoding MDC, probably because I'm not doing something correctly but I copied the settings from a radio that works fine. It is audibly there, trailing the TX, however if I look at my other 1250 there is no ID there from the TX'ing radio. The radio recieves and decodes other MDC users just not my 1250. Any ideas?

Are you using the same ID in both radios?

The radio will ignore its own ID.

I had thought that caller ID worked only on pre-ID, not post-ID.

What radios do you own?: Twin-V and an HT200

that must be it... the ID's are the same so the radio is ignoring it. Thanks!

BTW, sc9020 you have to enable the "Display Decode ID" in the MDC signalling menu in the software, and also select MDC as your recieving signalling system under each channel you want it to decode for.
