There is no longer a strictly conventional 'CDM1550'. If you want more than 16 conventional channels, or any type of conventional signalling, you need to order the CDM1550ls+ (plus). Full conventional features & up to 160 channels, in any LTR/conventional combination.

CDM1550LS+ will not do more than 16 conventional if it has a model number ending in "5AN" unless it has been modified.../\/\ will do this for a fee but it then becomes a "6AN" /\/\ will change model number if it is updated by them....at least thats what i'm going through with them right now..........

How much does it cost to have one upgraded to 160 channels? I am in the market for a UHF mobile, and there are some CDM155LS+ on ebay for pretty cheap. One person claims their's is 160 conventional channels, but it is a 5AN model number, auction is at

How do these compare with a Spectra or MCS2000, which are the other models that I am looking at? I need something that is remote mount, and preferably high power, but at least remote mount. Oh, and at least 64 alphanumeric channels.
Thanks,
Jeff
