I was on a website for the local ham club and it shows the freq. out puts on the repeaters with the pl. Now me not being a ham is why i am asking this question, Is there a set off set for UHF? the freq they show is 448.250 "-" it says this is an open repeater so how do you know the input to this? I plan on taking a ham class but right now i have now time. However i thought if i could find out the input to this reapeater i might put it in my scanner in the truck.

Thanks
Duane

Duane,

Typical UHF offset is 5MHz. "-" refers to shift down 5MHz, "+" would be a shift up. Thus, the input to the repeater would be 443.250
