Can I get a CDM-1250 to scan more than 16 channels

Hi.
I have several CDM-1250s and would like to get them to scan more than 16 channels. Seems that each scan list will only hold 16, even though I can program more than 16 in a zone. Will it scan more than 16 at a time?

No. There's no known method for adding more than 16 modes to a scan list.

I have heard that later version firmware would allow over 16 channel scan??? Anyone heard this?
