Hello!
Does anyone know of a way you can get the maxtrac 300 to scan WITHOUT having the mic on the hook? Can you jumper something on the accy. connector or something, or can you do it in the RSS? Thanks a lot.

I simply opening the mic, and grounded out the pin. For me, that made the most sense, and worked rather well.

So are you saying that if I open up the mic and ground the right pin, this should work? Which colored wire should I ground?

Rather than taking apart the mike , just look at the hangup on back of the mike you can use a fine piece of wire to wrap around the hangup to make the electrical connection yet still be able to hang-up the mike. most maxtrac mikes are one-peice and are designed to be thrown away when they fail and can be tough to get into. you can test this be taking a jumper and connect from the center of the hangup to one of the tabs below.
