TIR3 Inside Mounting?

Post by CPD534 »

Does anyone know of an easy way to mount two TIR3's above the rear view mirror or close to that area? Do they make some type of bracket for that?

Thanks, Kevin

Yes, other manufacturers do make a couple of brackets for external grill or deck mounting. They make a universal bracket, a L shape bracket and a license plate mounting bracket. These brackets can than be adapted using additional brackets from home depot or even industrial strenght velco for interior mounting. There already is a thread discussing Whelen TIR 3's that has the links to distributors of these brackets.

drywall screws and plain old L-brackets work quite well in securing to headliner

I'm about to mount a few TIR3s in the rear window of my pickup truck. I haven't decided how I'm going to do it yet, but just use your imagination - the possibilities are endless.
