They are made by a Russian Manufacturer under contract with the Military to produce equipment for the space program.

They look like MX300's series radios in a different type of enclosure, take a look at the audio port and the knob on top...however, I doubt they are Motorola...

The knob really does look like the hi-profile knobs used on the MX300 series radio. I've compared it with the MX340 I have here on the shelf and it appears identical.
