Old Radius Mobile

I have an old Motorola Radius Mobile radio, 6/8 channel VHF high band. It doesnt scan but I want to add scan to it. Any way to accomplish this?

No but I can get it. Can you modify the 6/8 chan to scan with the hex workshop?

Your logic board and firmware versions will determine what your radio can actually do. Study the information in these two links:

If you have a 16 pin logic board the ultimate upgrade would be to blank your board, replace the Radius firmware with the latest Maxtrac firmware, and initialize the unit as a high tier Maxtrac which will give you 32 channels, scan ,signalling, etc.

yes it can no sweat! Give me the rss # you are using,and the model # of the radio.Radius are a no brainer.Even I can do one,or two or 20
