I50R Repeater Controler Dip Switch Settings

I'm in a pinch and dont have a copy of my I50R manual here.

Normally you press * to open the patch and # to close. This isn't compatable with a VOIP system i'm using because it also uses the same * and # to begin and end dialing. I can't remember if there was any way to change the length of time required for each of the DTMF tones to trigger the function. The problem is the VOIP software needs to see a # to begin dialing the call but the controller sees the # as kill the patch. It would work fine if the I50R required lets say a 2 second # press to kill the patch. Ideas?

VOIP Codes

I had a similar problem. I found it easier in the short term to simply change what the VOIP software was looking for. Changed the # to a 11.... I know that may not answer your original post. But it may be a short term fix for testing.

Good luck.

Ya. I thought about that..... but the software doesn't allow for that. So i'm stuck.

I've got a very basic manual in front of me. I'm assuming your trying to change your access/release codes.
Sw-A
#8 - 2-digit connect and release command
OFF = #* to access,## to release
On = * to access, # to release.

I hope this helps a little
