there is a company i found on the batboard that allowed you to do 2 control heads from one radio, dont know if it will work the other way.

not without unplugging 1 and plugging in the other. you can't have both at the same time.

and there's other problems i think that followed with the dual head mounts of the CDM series, like the other mic being hot when one is keyed up.
the CDM series just wasn't designed to do what the Spectra did for us w/o asking.

There is a company in CA called Quickmount, that made a dual head kit for the GM300/Maxtrac. Try looking them up. Maybe they make one for the CDM.

I am not currently aware of anyone who offers a way to run two CDM* radios off of a single control head.
As mentioned above, the folks at Valley Industrial make the
QuickBoxdual head adapter, which will allow you to use two parallel control heads on a single radio.
I talked at length with one of their design engineers a while ago and said that a dual radio system, would be really handy. He smiled and said "Well, that certainly would be an interesting project to be working on...". I have a pretty good idea what I was meant to understand from that, however, I have not seen or heard anything else since, so it may well be something that was tried and abandoned.
I have installed a number of their dual-head kits. It is a good product, but the cost is equal to just buying a second radio, and you will almost certainly need to add additional noise filtering to the radio's power leads.
