Astro Spectra TX Issue

Hello all, I have an Astro Spectra that wont transmit past 15 seconds. It gives you a steady tone until you let go of the mic. I have all trunking personality TOT set for infinite and all conventional personalities set for infinite also. It acts the same on trunking and conventional channels and doesn't sound like the TOT kicking in. I believe the TOT gives you a fast "pre-warning tone" and this just goes from normal to tone. Did I miss a TOT setting someplace or is their possibly another issue going on? Will the Astro Spectra give you a tone if their is an antenna/cable issue?

Oh yeah it's a dashmount 500mhz radio with Smartzone and it everything else works fine other than that.
