Would you be able to give me wiring details on building the extender? I am interested in doing this in one of our vehicles.
Also, did you use single or dual antnennas and what did you use for intermod seperation between the two?

your getting overboard now. Take a look at
the manual for a Micor or a Mitrek and it explains how it works. No separate antennas
or anything like that. Just a very corase tuned (not freq controled) band pass filter
that feeds a pulse detector ckt that affects the gain of the reciever during sharp noise pulses. works very fast. Much faster than agc ckts usually work. It is fairly wide,
1/2 mhz or so is its sample window. If you read the insttructions on tuning up an extender section then the theory of it will be very obvious. Maybe you could scrounge the section from an old radio. Dick
