spectra d45 model 800 privacy plus

i have a spectra 800 pp and the hihg power ok.
and i have mts-200 full keypad and work fine

question.

the site have a 60 kilimeter to my office and work fine.. but put a spectra d45 to work, it´s more power but give me the same distance, same mts-2000, i guess if i have more power to give me more distance, i´ts true or why not work, from the site restrictec, or the site not have enough power to go back, because the radio some time filiate and other not. what it´s the trick....maybe programing parameter, if you liked send you the codeplug..
