Mid power spectra codeplug needed

Post by Rick Rock »

I am in the process of converting an A5 mid-power analog into an A9, so I am looking for a codeplug for a T43KXA7JA9AK if anyone has one they're willing to share.

Better to bitbang the one you allready have. There have been way to many Spectra's in my shop with severe 'code plug' problems. Even some with dead MLM's due to trying to force in the wrong codeplug information.

I do have a limited capability to fix some MLM's without the radio, saves on shipping costs. So if you are not up to the bit stuff, I could do it for you.

I've done the bit-banging per Batlabs instructions, but it still won't allow the s9000e head option in RW settings. MLM is 5.23.

Another thing is to make sure is that it wasn't a motorcycle radio. The command board in a motorcycle radio will not support and A9 head.

I know it's not a motorcycle radio, and I'm pretty sure 6060 was changed properly, but I won't be able to verify it until this weekend.
