Can you connect 2 CDM-750s to make a repeater?

Post by Skooter92 »

Have a buttload of UHF CDM-750s on the shelf, and I was wondering if I could pair them up as repeaters. Otherwise, time to sell them. Anyone can help, much appreciated.

What radios do you own?: Motorola/Kenwood

yes you can. you will need the cables and a rick. If you do a search on this board you will find out what you need to do.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Here's some info to help you with the hook-up. It's really quite simple.

Moto made a low band repeater using CDM750s, don't know if they still do and I can't remember the model at the moment. I set one up a few years back, it was pretty much just a rack with the radios, power supply and a RICK.
