Motorola Spectra HCN1053A Hand Held Control Head Question

I have a Spectra 800Mhz remote head,how do i program the radio to use a Motorola Spectra HCN1053A Hand Held Control Head ?

If I remember correctly , the conventional only 800MHZ Spectra could utilize the HHCH head. A trunking spectras got more features and issues than the head could handle. Also the 800's HHCH where an SP product, so there may have been additional mods done.

To answer your question, in the RSS there is a section to change the control head, but I have a feeling the radio will go dumb on you ...
