I have a MT-2000 UHF radio that "says" Fail 01/92. This happened when I was doing an alinment. I have RSS for the radio and was able to read/program the radio before this happened.

Any assistance would be a great help.
Thanks

I had the same problem with a radio last week
we used CPS software and it gave us the
err 01/92 so we went back to our DOS. software and pulled up a archive of the radio
and reprogrammed it and it works just fine now but we can not use CPS software to program it. SO try using DOS Base software.

That is all that I have used is the DOS version.
Thanks for the input though.

Fail F01/92 is Internal EEPROM checksum error. Cause Bad internal codeplug data,(something missing or programed wrong) or Defective microcontroller.

Corrective action: Reprogram with saved working archive! or Clone from working archive. If this does not clear failure you could have a microcontroller failure which means factroy repair.. Most of the time when we see this failure we can clear it about 98% of the time by reprograming with the original working saved archive.
