I have a HT1250-LS+ IT said HT!250 when i bought it off ebay that was depoted a couple months ago because it wouldn't do zone/s and had it programmed with 52 channels when it went to dealer. When it cam back from depot it it will do 64 conventional channels and says HT1250-LS+. I don't know first radio I ever had go to depot. over 200 bucks to send it and works great now my cdm1250 does 64 channels conventional too. Just thought I'd tell everyone what happened.

Typically what is the cost involved to uplift a 5AN to a 6AN, and is it one of those "moto pain in the arses" or can the MSS do it?

Only Moto can do it...I don't know if they actually swap out the board, or if they upgrade it with special software. You'll have to call for costs...it seems to vary.

They charged us $60 / unit.
