GM300 - Hi/Lo Power

Post by gdsteele »

Is the GM300 output just one power setting for the radio? In other words, can you set channels to be 'high' or 'low' power? If so, where in the RSS do you set that? I have adjusted the power in the service mode, but don't see any other mention of output power.

Yes, GM300, like MaxTrac and Radius mobiles, have only one power setting, and it affects all modes. You adjust it through the service menu. Typically, you don't want to set it lower than about 1/2 of the radio's rated output power.
