I read somewhere here on the board, that the 800Mhz Astro Saber will not scan outside of one system programed in the radio at any given time, can some one confirm this..

Here is another question for the product line (Astro)...

Ok, on our repeater out freq, there is another PD in another state that comes in well enought to lock PD1 on pri scan. We are keeping the same pair when go digital.

If the new radios are placed in scan (Astro Spectra/XTS3000), and there is non-digital activity, will it lock the radio on the pri channel which is digital? This will be a conventional VHF system.
