that model number is for an LS+ model and they don't have QCII signaling, only MDC1200 as far as I know.

ok the ls and ls+ radios won't do QCII or dtmf signaling and there is no way you will get it to work, you need a non ls model or a 1550

is there a reason that ppcps 4.00.00 won't work? sorry very new to this, first 1. also is there a way that i can use the codeplug from a 750 with mine if so how?

4.00.00 won't work because the radio has been written with a newer version and won't go backwards, call Motorola and get the newest version. and like i said there is no way you will get that ls model to do that, codeplug from a 750 is different. the ONLY way is to get a non ls model.

you forgot to mention that it wont do select call or mdc in conventional...

i had that headache, but its been solved with a "6" model 1250 and 7150...

my friend with the l/s...
look on the bright side, you can record...

id say get some cash for it and get a 6 model, otherwise youre stuck with a recording, fancy, compact 16 channel radio..

thats how i fixed mine
