HT750 no power up

It has 7.325 volts at the bottom of the on/off /vol , till you turn it to the on position then it goes to zero? It does not give any power up tones, error tones or sounds of any type .I first thought it was the fuse but I nolonger believe this.The story on this radio is that it was dropped? It is an HT750 uhf 16 ch, any ideas?

Battery?

I've seen batteries that put out the proper static voltage with no load, but when any load is applied, they drop to 0V.

Take off the case and check the flex inside. something probably jarred loose. Then again, the battery would have caused error first.... check it .

Replace FLASH ROM only.

Resolder Flashrom AT49LV001NT TSOP32 case,
or EEPROM AT25128 or AT25640 SOIC8 case.

only resolder flash rom or replace it ?
