Can you use a cdm cable on an m1225 with a rib?

does an m1225 need to be put into any progamming mode?

Yes you can, and you don't even need the RIB.

Nope, just plug in the programming cable and read away.

Unless the cable has a rib built into it, you will need a rib to read the M1225.
