Radio lock and self test mode

I have an Astro Saber III with an encryption module (?). This radio has the Radio Lock function anabled. I have tried to enter self test mode by pressing side button 3 five times prior to and after the radio lock password, but the radio will not go into self test mode. I am assuming at this point, I need to drop in an earlier codeplug without the radio lock feature enabled just to check the radios parameters. Is there an easier way?

hmmm I remember that working before when I had the radio lock enable.... maybe its a firmware issue......

Only thing I can say is just trying it again and making sure its the 2nd botton from at the back that is being pushed... if all else fail... just go in reprogram for disabled on radio lock.
