Some comments:
I think I went into the install with a bad attitude thinking that this install was going to be a pain, and that I would have all of these nightmare problems that I have heard from people.
I was quite wrong.
Even though this was a pretty basic install, I turned it out much faster than a regular cruiser build. The Whelen interface was a joke, but the customer bought them, so they went in. This one was supposed to be getting a push-bumper but it didnt come in on time for the vehicle's premiere in the weekend parade. The power taps in the console area are great, and the 3 pairs of wire ran to the grille made great speaker wire and LED control for the pushbumper LED's that will be going on. Honestly the only wires I ran in this car was 2 coax's, lightbar cable, and one 14awg for the rear deck LED.
I didnt get time for much pictures cause like I said before I was cramped on time, but of course I did take it for a spin around the block. It did turn alot of heads...lol
The speaker was a pain to get in using Federal's "Custom" bracket.
I actually was kinda impressed with this car..
kinda worried me when I couldnt find the battery though...lol...isnt that thing huge?
Let me know what you think...i know the pics aint great...but I am working on an un-marked on Monday for the Sheriif himself....
