Checking a 900 MGHZ antenna

Post by rrfd43 »

I have a base and mobile antenna that will be used for some 900 meg ham set ups. I have use of an mfj antenna analizer, but of course it doen't go this high.

Is there an available tester for this band the checks for swr, or is there some conversion, etc to use the mfj for this? (freq conversion, etc)

Diamond SX-1000, does SWR & Power 1.8MHz up to 1.3GHz. Cheapest I've seen is $199 @ HRO

plug it in and use a wattmeter.
I have bird site analyser that goes to 6 gig but a simple wattmeter does pretty good
