This is my 3rd and final console for this truck. Made this one with Jotto Desk face plates and plywood with automotive trunk liner. I do Vehicle installs as a side job from the FD.

Very nice! Do you have any high resolution photos? This is exactly what I want to do in my truck. Not quite as many radios though!

I just can't justify the cost of a ready-made console for two radios. How much were the individual face plates?

Would not mind doing something to my 2002 GMC standard cab as well. I want something low profile (height-wise), and with less gear too
The thought of moving my indash CD palyer for a RS 2055 scanner is getting closer to reality

Dear RRFD72:
Please be very careful of high RF enviroments in this vehicle. Did you install multiple alternators???
Impressive job to see.....

How can that be too many radios???
33mhz
46mhz
VHF
Dual band ham
900MHZ
Thats the problem when you travel between 2 states all the time.
And Tom.... My truck may have the RF danger but I think your neighbors should be worried about your house...

WOW, that's quite a console. It's one of the most profesional looking jobs I've ever seen, yet with a soft touch.
Excellent job, you have every right to be proud of it...

6 - #8 self-drilling screws right into the floor. Plenty of clearence underneath the hump,

The only thing that would impress you more is when you look in the back of the truck....
