902 Repeaters at Hamvention

Gentlemen,

When I attended Hamvention last (2003) I remember bumping in to several of you. And was told that there was at least one 902 repeater on the air then. Is anyone planning on bringing one again this year?? If not, will there be any special simplex channels in use?? I am just getting back into the hobby after a few years away. And with the recently acquired MTX9000 I am VERY fired up about 900 and hope to meet some of you this year!

I would post the question in the General area where it says: Sticky: Dayton 2007: The Dinner" Is anyone bringing a suitcase repeater?
A Search of Dayton, brought up frequencies from 2003-2005, didn't see one for 2006... I'll shoot a PM off to the guys who were there in the past years, and ask them to post if theres a repeater or frequencies for batlabers on the way in..... please don't flood these people with PM's & emails..... I'm sending 1 now.... Jim Reid

theres 3 pages.... I already shot some PM's & an email off to those posting frequencies from last year...so until you see a follow-up you can use these.... who knows

I appreciate your help. Never intended to flood anyone with anything. Was simply a question posted in what seemed to be the most appropriate location. As this is the forum for the 900 Meg guys. Anyway, if anyone knows of any 900 channels, please advise. Otherwise I'll keep an ear on the well known 927.500.

There hasn't been a general channel that "we" use at Dayton on 900... mainly because most everyone has VHF/UHF.

That channel plan should be readily available in General Discussion.

Check out this post for what was around last year:

I had my radio with me but I don't remember how many of those repeaters were on the air. I know for certain that 927.4875 131.8 was on.

I know someone who says he is going to have 927.6625 131.8 on the air. Not 100% positive about that one, though.

I'll bring my radio along, and try to bounce around the various frequencies to say hi if I have the chance.

Duh; should have read a little closer. Didn't catch the link since it wasn't blue.

Anyway, good to know about .4875. Hopefully the guy I know will have .6625 on.

I'm looking forward to running into some fellow 900MHz geeks.
