I am looking at an A7 Model: H01SDH9AA7AN on Ebay and it is a
Frequency Band: 450-520MHz. What must be done to the radio to make it usable on the 70 cm ham bands? TIA

Nothing needs to be done to the radio, high split Jedi's usually work the 440-450 band with no problem. You do have to modify the RSS to allow the entry of out of band channels. See the http://www.batlabs.com and look under Model Specific Information for the procedures.
