GP328 - What CPS Version?

Post by bellersley »

Hi guys, I've got a VHF GP328 and I'm trying to figure out what CPS/RSS I need to program this thing. I'm NOT asking for the CPS, I'm just wondering what part number I need to use. I figured the GP300 series that works with the GP360/GP380 series would work, but it complains that it's an incompatible radio.

Thanks

What radios do you own?: Motorola FR50!

Model Number?

Could be an asian radio, so you will likely need the Asian-Pacific GP328/GP338/GP338Plus series CPS.

The correct software would be the Professional Series CPS. I believe you'll need R06 or better, and you'll need to do the registry hack (search for it) to add AZ to the list of permitted regions.
